Comments: My tattoo is a sun with tribal flames at the top and then smoke going down to the wiccan symbol of a full moon with a crescent moon on either side. The serpent on one moon represents continuation through struggle(because of snakes shedding their skin then continuing on anew) and the Celtic knots are also symbolic of continuation through the twists and turns of life. |

Comments: This is a tattoo I had done to honor my daughter who at age 2 developed a blood disorder called ITP and without everyone donating blood or plasma or platelets she could have died. This was a fight for her and I thought this message would carry on forever. She went into remission 7/09 at the age of 5 and I am happy to say the battle is over for us but not for the many children who get this every year so please keep giving blood! Calf on the right side! |

Comments: I wanted a tattoo that represented me being a strong woman, and with luck I stumbled upon the strength tarot card, which shows a woman taming a lion. When I saw it, I thought it was beautiful. And when I researched more about the meaning of the strength card, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for.
I thought of modernizing the woman and removing the infinity sign at one point, but when I realized the design was drawn how it was for a purpose, and I decided to keep the original design to keep its essence. I chose not to put the word "strength" because the image speaks for itself. |
