The number one answer, with 38% of the votes, was "I'm still looking!" and that's not a huge surprise since in past polls we've seen that many of the people who visit our site are not tattooed (yet). The second most popular answer, "From my own head", at 28%, seems to say that the tattoo clientele of today is indeed thinking about the inking. It turns out that 10% of the folks visiting the web site (and taking time for the poll) found their tattoo symbol by "Searching the internet" and 8% found theirs "From flash at the shop" or "Saw it in a book". 4% of our participants decided on their tattoo symbol after they "Saw it in person" while only 1% "Saw it in a magazine" or "Let the tattooist choose it". (Percentages don't tally due to rounding error.)
