We were just curious about the people who frequent the TattooSymbol web site. On any given day, most of the visitors to the site, about 65%, are already tattooed, with the majority of these being women. Once again, the old addage that “tattoos are like potato chips – you can’t have just one” seems true. Many of the people who visit are looking for that next tattoo, not the first one. Also, most of the people who visit the site (or at least take the time for the poll, since the two are not necessarily the same) are women: 55% women compared to 45% men. That female presence confirms the fact that the female demographic has been on the rise at tattoo studios for some time. (Percentages may not tally due to rounding error.)
